Dark clouds hover ominously on the horizon
Threatening to steal the sun
Casting the earth into darkness
Pouring their rain down into the world
Like all evil is coming down from above
The rain comes, hard, pounding
People run for cover, ducking in doorways
Hurrying to their cars,
Trying to avoid the assault nature has thrust upon them
